They used watercolors. She got a 1- (German equivalent to an A-) for it. I think it is great!

When I was about her 13 I had to paint it as well.
I used oil paints and I guess that is when I discovered my love for painting. I am going to have to start painting again!
This is my version. It is inverted and I ran out of paper on the bottom so it is an extract. :-)

You both paint very well...I wanna see an original!! Oh, and you have to see the Peacock at my Hideaway Pictures Blog click on the first pics to enlarge. It almost looks like a painting ...maybe use it for inspiration and paint the Peacock
